How to Use Clubhouse to Grow Your Business: Android Release

Welcome to episode 103 of The Determined Mom Show. I am so happy that you are here, and I wanna talk to you today about how to use Clubhouse to grow your business.

Recently, in the last couple of weeks, the Android release of Clubhouse has come out. So what does that mean for you? That means. Anyone in the United States, Canada, and a couple of other countries can now use the clubhouse no matter if you have an Android or an iPhone. With that said, one trend that I have seen with iPhone or iOS users is that they have gotten burnt out on Clubhouse.

So either that or they’re leveraging it very well to improve their business, which has grown tremendously because of it. When I first got on Clubhouse in January, I purchased an iPad just so I could get on Clubhouse. But the great news is that purchase paid for itself within a week of being in the club.

I’ve met so many amazing people in different clubs and also just in different rooms. Just by spending an hour every Saturday morning, which was my initial goal, to connect with people in the clubhouse and learn about them, learn about their business, and also host my rooms by hosting my rooms, I was allowed to create eventually.

So now I have a club for Google My Business. I also have a club for The Determined Mom Show podcast where I go live every Friday in both of those clubs and talk about whatever the topic was this week or whatever’s new in Google My Business. And I also have a 337 networking club. Now, what having a club allows you to do is it allows you to host a room inside of your club and it will notify all of the members of your club.

You can also. Send invitations to anyone without having to use the quota of invitations that Clubhouse gives you. They only give you a few invitations at first, and then they’ll keep giving you more and more and more. And I’ve probably gotten about 30 invitations to the clubhouse over the last five months.

Now, how can you use Clubhouse to grow your business? The answer to that joins some rooms, and I don’t mean the super duper large rooms where you go and you see there’s like 17 moderators and speakers and 400 people in there listening. Those are not the rooms you can grow in because you won’t be able to ask questions easily.

You’re not gonna be able to engage with people and get to know them. You need to find some rooms in your target niche or parallel to your target niche that will help you network with the people in your industry or people in a parallel industry. For example, I have had the most progress in the club.

By networking and talking to people that are in marketing, but they’re not necessarily Google. My Business experts have marketing clients. They know their marketing clients need to leverage Google My business, but they’re unsure where to take them. Those are the rooms where I make the most progress in my business.

If you are a health coach, you may want to partner with life. You may want to find other niches that are just left of your center and partner with those people. Talk to those people and make those connections. Another tip for leveraging Clubhouse for your business is you want to follow everyone that is in the room that you’re in.

That way, you’re going to be able to follow them on Clubhouse. Not only do you do that, but you go to their Instagram, which. Is on their profile. So if you go to their profile on Clubhouse, it will have their Instagram link down below. So you’re gonna follow them on Instagram as well. And you can even send them a direct message if you’ve had an actual conversation with them just following up and saying, Hey, I loved our conversation.

I would love to continue it. Or maybe I see a partnership for us in this area. Or let’s just jump on a call and talk more about what we were talking about in that. That’s how you’re gonna start making those really valuable connections and, you know, expanding your business, expanding your sphere of influence.

Episode 101 was all about how to grow your business and brand quickly, and the main focus of that episode is exposure and exposure through speaking, exposure through networking. , all of those things. So Clubhouse is the perfect catalyst for that method. I highly recommend it. I wouldn’t waste a lot of time on Facebook or Instagram or any of those things because if you have a proven, consistent clubhouse strategy where you say, okay, every week I’m going to host a room on this topic, or I’m going to find someone that I can co-moderate a room on with this topic.

Any of those things, if you have that focus, You’re going to grow. And combining that with an Instagram strategy where you make sure you’re following everyone that attends your rooms, you’re following everyone in the rooms that you attend, and you’re following up with direct messages. That can be a killer strategy for growing your business.

You’re going to make new connections. You’re gonna meet new people. And not only that, but a lot of the people in Clubhouse are connectors. I am what I call a connection. That means that I know thousands of people that you would love to meet, and the reason for that is that they have amazing businesses.

They have a lot to offer, and they’re always open for collaboration, networking, and all of those things. Knowing those connectors that are on Clubhouse like me is very important because they are going to. Leading you to the people that are gonna help your business explode. If you need an invitation to Clubhouse and you’re listening to this, please click on the link in the show notes, and that has a clubhouse invitation just for you.

And all you have to do is click on that invitation. It’s going to invite you to join. the Determine Mom Show Group, and then you will have a Clubhouse invitation. You don’t need to necessarily be connected to me personally. You’ll be able to get onto Clubhouse without having a connection.

So that’s an amazing perk of having the groups. So I hope that you consider this. In your strategy, I also want you to consider the fact that you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the Clubhouse. In January, I probably spent four hours on Clubhouse and then I stopped. The reason that I stopped is that I met so many amazing people, and got introduced to so many amazing new connections through different networking groups that I was invited to on clubhouse podcasting opportunities that I had.

I can’t get to Clubhouse every week now because I have too much to do. I have too many connections. I have too many new calls. I have too many new clients. I had to pause on Clubhouse, so I would suggest maybe either getting on for 30 minutes a week, for an hour a week, or whatever your schedule can allow, but just make it consistent so then that way you can continue to.

You are using Clubhouse. I hope you have a great week, and as always, please leave us a review on iTunes so that way we can reach more people and share the podcast wherever you can.
