Welcome to episode 145 of the determined moms show. I am your host, Amanda Tinto. And this is the final episode. Number seven of the Google, my business series. You’re probably wondering, or maybe you’re not why we only had seven or why we had seven. I have a little bit of OCD with numbers and I could not do w it would either have to be three episodes or seven episodes.

0 (43s): And I had way more to say than three episodes. So it had to be seven. So today we’re going to talk about the easiest way to respond to reviews. This is something that you’re going to want to do today right now. And then that way you don’t have to even think about it. It’s just basically like responding to a text message. That’s how easy it’s going to be for you. So the first thing you’re going to do is go to either the Google play store or the apple, what is it? iTunes store, app store, whatever it’s called. Not very good at that. I have an iPad and I yell at it frequently because I’m a, a PC and a, an Android person.

0 (1m 24s): So all technology aside, you’re going to go there. You’re going to download the, my business app from Google. This is the most effective way. And not only just reviews, it’s going to also allow you to get direct messages from your customers. So if you have a hair salon and someone has a question, like, do you have someone that’s great at this type of haircut, like long bobs or angled bobs, or, you know, any of those things, your customer that’s contemplating, whether or not they should choose you or another salon can send you a message on Google my business. If you have the app on your phone, you’re going to get that message directly on your phone.

0 (2m 8s): And it will also go to anyone else that has access to your Google, my business on their phone. So it’s really important. Maybe you have a front desk phone, maybe, you know, whatever that might be. You want to have that number, or that person have access to it. In case you’re on vacation in case, you know, you’re with a client and you can’t respond right away, those things are going to get you those clients that you might not have gotten. Otherwise, maybe they’ve messaged three different businesses. And whoever’s the first one to respond is going to be the one that they go to. That can be you. So again, the, my business app on the app store or Google play is going to be your best and easiest way to respond to reviews, because you’re going to be able to just take your phone out, look at the notification and click on it and respond to that review from wherever you are doing, whatever you’re doing.

0 (3m 4s): And that person is going to say, oh, wow, they already responded to my review. That’s great. Super cool. And this is why I love this business. So very, very easy for you in your pocket. Super easy. It’s really no more effort than replying to a text message that you get from a loved one or a friend or family or whatever. It’s just super easy. I hope that right now, you’re taking out your phone and if you don’t already have it installed, you need to install it. The final step of that is to go into your Google, my business listing, and turn on messaging, because if you don’t do that, you’re not going to get those messages.

0 (3m 45s): You still will get the review notification. So that’s good, but you will also want to make sure that you turn on messaging. I hope that you really enjoyed this Google my business series.
