I am going to share with you how to spend an extra day with your kids this month. Let’s face it, as moms, we are super busy with everything from laundry to organizing. We find it impossible to get everything done because there is just no way to do it all. If we work outside the home, we have to balance work, home, school projects, and homework. Personally, I am currently juggling work, home, the school for my girls, college classes for me, and my blog. I always end up feeling guilty at the end of the day about what I haven’t done (even though I have done more than my 20-year-old self could have ever imagined one person squeezing into a day). This is totally normal, but it doesn’t make us moms feel good.
Fifteen minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance. Wait. Scratch that, what I meant to say is, you can get a lot done in fifteen minutes. So, let’s make a promise to ourselves for the next month (start on any day you choose) to carve out just 15 minutes from our busy days and focus solely on playing with our kids. My girls are going to love this. Love may actually be too light of a word, but it is going to fill their little hearts with so much joy they won’t be able to contain it! So, repeat after me: “I am determined to spend an extra fifteen minuted each day with my kids this month, doing kids things”. I am convinced that it will not only be good for them, but it will lower our stress levels too and let us have some fun! I am all for fun!
So, here is a list of 30 things you can do with your kids for those 15 minutes. Pin it, save it, download it, print it (do people still print stuff), whatever you need to do to keep it handy. Please comment and let me know how your month went.
